Terms of Service
Last updated July 28, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Head Start Solutions, LLC, the company behind Headstart. By creating an account or buying credits, you agree to them. We have kept them as plain as we can.
What Headstart does
Headstart finds your ideal customers on X and researches each one. You get a ranked list of leads, and every lead comes with the context on who they are, what they are working on, and why they fit.
Headstart never contacts anyone on your behalf. No automatic messages, no sequences. You write and send every message yourself, and your outreach — including following X’s own rules when you send it — is your responsibility.
Your account
You need an account to use Headstart. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us right away if you think someone else is using your account. You must be at least 16 and using Headstart for business purposes.
Credits and payment
- One credit is one researched lead. A credit pays for the research on a person we found for you.
- Packs. You can buy credit packs one-time, or subscribe to receive the same pack every month with bonus credits on top.
- Credits never expire. If you cancel a subscription, you keep every credit you already have — you just stop receiving new ones each month.
- Prices can change. If they do, the change applies to future purchases only. Credits you already bought are not affected.
Payments are processed by our payment processor. Taxes may be added where the law requires it.
Refunds
If something went wrong with a purchase — a mistaken charge, a pack you did not mean to buy — email us at support@useheadstart.ai and we will sort it out. Credits already spent on research cannot be refunded, because the work has been done.
Your leads and your say
Your leads are ranked by fit: the strongest matches sit at the top, and you have the final say on who is worth your time. What we promise is the research — who a person is, what they are working on, and why they fit. Whether a lead replies, or becomes a customer, depends on your offer and your outreach, so we cannot promise that.
Fair use
Using Headstart, you agree not to:
- resell, republish, or redistribute the research we deliver to you — it is for your own outreach;
- use the research to spam, harass, or deceive anyone;
- use Headstart for anything illegal;
- probe, overload, or interfere with the service, or access it by any means other than the product itself.
If an account is used this way, we may suspend or close it. Unused credits on an account closed for abuse are forfeited.
Your data and our product
What you tell us about your business stays yours. The Headstart product — the software, the design, the name — stays ours. The research we deliver is yours to use for your own outreach, within the fair-use rules above. How we handle personal data is covered in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and liability
Headstart is provided “as is.” We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and neither of us is liable to the other for indirect damages such as lost profits.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — payment obligations, liability limits, data terms — survive the end of the agreement.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top. For meaningful changes we will email you before they take effect. Continuing to use Headstart after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions about these terms: support@useheadstart.ai.
